How we started
Puppy Playground started with our own dog, Lambeau. Back in Michigan he had a daycare he loved — acres to run, a pool, real playmates, and overnights that felt like staying with family instead of sitting in a kennel. When we moved to Texas in 2020, we couldn’t find anything close. So we built it.
We didn’t want to wing it. The whole idea traced back to Lucky Puppy, the Michigan daycare Lambeau adored, so our very first call was to its owner, Brenda Langley — a trainer who loves dogs beyond description. A few calls, some emails, and a visit for training later, Puppy Playground was born.
We’re Suzanne and Jason, and we founded Puppy Playground. Our animals have always been family. And that’s exactly how we treat yours.

Meet Meg & Jonathan
The day-to-day is in great hands. Here’s a little more about the two who run it.

Meg
VET TECH & MANAGERMeg has spent years in veterinary medicine — from assisting at Banfield in 2016 to a certified technician running anesthesia for busy surgical teams. In 2020 she turned to canine behavior, interning at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and studying with the trainers behind Dog Impossible. An animal advocate to her core, she’s long dreamed of a canine one-stop-shop — and Puppy Playground is it.

Jonathan
MANAGERJonathan has had dogs his whole life, but his approach was shaped by his own two — a high-energy Belgian Shepherd and a Blue Pitbull with serious separation anxiety. After years of kenneling them through long workdays, he hired a trainer to learn to leave them safely out of a crate — and it’s been six years since either has been in a kennel. For Jonathan, it all comes down to calm, fear-free communication.
